Poem 17/10/2018

            Other Worlds:

            Palestine, Jordan, and Canada
The lands which I will forever reside
            Lost in confusion
            Found in the nations

Rooted within the world of war and peace
Grandfathers, haunted by the wars of their nations
Grandchildren, haunted by the internal war of society
            Pulled away from their desires
It stays within, lost within a paradox, interminable

            Grandchildren accustomed, grandparents scarred
A nation lost within the depths of all nations
            Society unknown to societies
Never to be retrieved, never to be solaced
            Inhabitants Perished
            Traditions erased
The end is near, we must embrace
